Internship Associate Position (Private Equity)

Job description

Due to a high level of deal activity, KCP is offering an internship position for a 3 to 6 month period, beginning in January.  The successful candidate will assist the team in all aspects of the transaction work.  The candidate will need to show strong financial and commercial analysis skills, including extensive financial modelling skills.

The successful candidate will also have prior experience of working on live transactions, gained either at an investment firm, corporate finance house or investment bank.

This is an opportunity for a bright, hardworking, and diligent candidate to gain valuable experience at a fast-growing private equity firm, and experience all aspects of a private equity transaction, working very closely with the deal team.

This internship is a pre-curser to a full-time associate position with Kingsley, assuming the candidate exhibits strong performance and a good fit with Kingsley during the internship period.

If this internship is of interest to you, please submit your CV and a covering letter to careers@kingsleyllp.com.

Tailored Approach

No two companies are the same. KCP approaches each opportunity on a case-by-case basis and has the flexibility to provide bespoke solutions (e.g. minority liquidity) to counterparties that many other firms cannot offer.

Entrepreneur-to-Entrepreneur

KCP’s partners founded their business. Management teams deal directly with individuals who understand the challenges associated with being an entrepreneur and running a company on a day-to-day basis. This creates a deeper level of understanding between KCP and the management teams it supports, both before a transaction is agreed, but also throughout the investment holding period.

Global Network

Management teams and portfolio companies will gain access to a global network provided by its partners and shareholders, across a range of sectors from healthcare, retail, and telecommunications to financial services, education and politics. KCP’s network is significant and provides management teams with a head-start when looking to grow their business further.
